Inspired by Virginia

On my way around my favorite blogs yesterday I came across THIS post by Virginia. I found her paper-pieced jars to be so charming that I used them as inspiration to finally ink up a Unity stamp set that I've had for a while but haven't used as yet.

I did some paper-piecing using the Butterfly Garden paper pack from Pink Paislee that I just unearthed from the rubble that had been my studio. Since I didn't want to tax my still in recovery mojo I kept this oh-so-simple. I wanted to make a card for my in-laws, just something to remind them how much God loves them.

I also used the Pink Paislee Butterfly Garden 6x6 paper pack and Stampendous Cling Stamp "Wings of Eagles".

  1. wow this is this verse...

  2. Beautifully done Nancy and very meaningful. Cleaning and purging is good for the soul!! And the mojo. hugs.

  3. I love your background and the verse is one of my favorite "go to" verses! I am loving that Mason jar - that's what we call them in South Georgia :)

  4. Such a charming card, Nancy! Beautifully crafted with lots of love! So good to see you creating again! Hugs! :)

  5. Your card is stunning, beautiful bible verse and pretty background and card layout.

Thank you for the very nice comment and for dropping by my blog.

    Hugs, Lori m

  6. I was inspired by Virginia's work too! I am thinking about getting some jar stamp to fill it with flowers. Each time I see some crafter using Scriptures in their projects, my heart rejoices!

  7. great card Nancy. Love that sentiment. It looks stunning on your card.

Thanks for your comments, I love hearing from you!
