S'more Fun

Oh golly, I did it again! I've neglected my cute little corner of the web for almost a month! It's been a busy month getting ready for the new Lawn Fawn release and getting Kelly and Jenn ready for the SPC tradeshow in Utah. I'm busy with another huge batch of sample cards for our retail stores but I've finally made some cards that I can share with you! Yippee!!

On Saturday afternoon Al and I got together with treasured friends, people we have known and shared our lives with since our boys were tiny. We've been through a lot in the intervening years but it's always wonderful to see them again and pick up the friendships where we left off.

The plan was to have a BBQ and have homemade ice cream and s'mores for dessert. Well I just happened to have the perfect stamps for the occasion. I took some time out of my card sample making and whipped up a matching set of cards.

I used Lawn Fawn's Love You S'more and 6x6 papers from Let's Polka, Hello Sunshine. I also used the brand new Large and Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables dies and Sweater Weather 6x6 paper (coming soon!!)

We posed for a group photo, I think we look the same as we did 30 years ago, just with a little added character maybe.

Thanks for visiting!

Sending Smiles

Today I'm playing with the super talented girls over on the Lawn Fawn blog for the 4th Day of Xyron + Lawn Fawn Week! I took a break from working on the latest massive batch of sample cards to create something sweet with Hello Baby and Spring Showers. I have been using the Xyron Tape Runner lately and I love how silky smooth it lays down the sticky dots.

I've been wanting to use vellum on a project as I've been really inspired by Nichol's adorable cards. I used papers from the Let's Polka 6x6 petite paper pack. The Stitched Journaling Card die makes a perfect sized panel for creating a cute scene. My sentiment comes from the brand new Wish You Were Here, Too mini set.

Be sure to visit the Lawn Fawn blog today and check out the projects by the Xyron team too!

Here's the Lawn Fawn products I used:
