Well I just took a little creative trip south of the border to participate in
Vicky's Around the World Challenge #3. Here's the awesome inspiration photo:
I just love those festive colors! I also thought I would try out the sketch at
Everything But the Kitchen Sink:
I spent way too much time on this, I wanted to get the colors and patterns just right. I finally just decided it looked okay and glued everything down.
I wanted to make the flower look like the tissue paper flowers we made as kids. It's just printer paper, colored with Copics and die cut with the Scalloped Circle nestie.
Stamps and Supplies:

ReplyDeleteNancy, I love your version of the "around the world challenge". I love the yellow and red and your flower is great. This says Mexico. I have that same stamp set and it never dawned on me to use it.
