Gelatos on Canvas- Stamping 103 Class

It's all about Faber-Castell Gelatos in Happy Heart Studio lately. I've been designing samples for an upcoming class and I've finally finished them.

The card features Gelatos stamped on Sticky Back Canvas. They also provide the color on the flower die cuts.

Here's a close up look:

This technique involves coloring with Gelatos directly on the stamp, I think it looks wonderful on canvas!

The second sample is a 3x3 mini canvas, colored with Gelatos, then stamped. It's embellished with a Gelato colored butterfly and sentiment strips. There will be the option to add a magnet to the back to hang on a fridge or file cabinet.

  6. Beautiful I wish I could come take your class Nancy! I have a few gelatos and I really need to try them out. They look great on the canvas, do you add water or anything before stamping onto the canvas? I also love the small canvas with the magnet idea. I saw some really tiny canvases at Micheal's the other day, never thought of magnets but they would be perfect.

  12. Hi Nancy, these projects are beautiful--love the results using the Gelatos and the colors of the Gelatos are gorgeous. I have been thinking of purchasing the Gelatos for a long time, but I keep putting it off. Now that I have seen these gorgeous results, I guess that I will purchase a few. But I'm having a hard time deciding on what colors to start with. God bless you.
