Well this challenge got me thinking about sets of stamps that have been unfairly neglected. So I made a card using an older Papertrey Ink set with inspiration from Lin (and PTI).
The flower stamps are from Beautiful Blooms II and the sentiment is from Signature Greetings. I used the coordinating Beautiful Blooms die to create the flower embellie. I combined the older stamps with Hero Hues Chalk inks in Poppy, Punch and Splash...I love the clean primary color palette.
This is birthday card #1 of 10 that I'm making for my sister. She's leading a summer Bible Study and ordered birthday cards for the women in the group. I'm still debating whether it needs bling, what do you think?

ReplyDeleteIt's a great feeling to use neglected stamps, isn't it?? I loooove the bold colors of the first one and the softer colors are really pretty in the second. That's such a great technique for creating less bulky cards for mailing.
