Thought for the Day: Ephesians 4:32 "Be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you." ~I've been working through some hurtful issues lately and I am seriously having to remember to forgive sometimes on an hourly basis. But I know that when God forgave me, I didn't deserve it, so I can't make that a qualifier for forgiving someone else. Forgiveness frees the spirit and keeps the lines of communication open with God. Unforgiveness leads to bitterness, interrupted fellowship with God and steals your joy.
Bless you,
nancy
Really lovely CAS, Nancy....but very effective!
ReplyDeleteNancy, I love the CAS cards! Wish I lived closer! Would so love to take the class and meet you!! I love your thought of the day today. When talking about forgiveness, I always remember what I was taught by my parents. To not only forgive and forget, but to NEVER hold a grudge. I think they go hand in hand. It is so true, that holding grudges and not forgiving, really does make for an unhappy life! Hugs to you! :)
