Clean and Simple Cards-Theme for my Next Class

I've been wanting to try my hand at clean and simple designed cards. I thought I would use that for the theme of my next class at Stamp Fever on Saturday the 22nd of May. We will explore some one-layer stamping, adding Stickles for a special touch. Then we will use a simple stamped motif combined with scrap patterned paper for a quick and pretty card. Finally we will stamp one image in several colors, punch out squares and assemble with bold black mats for maximum drama and effect. This will be the perfect opportunity to add to your stash of cards for every occasion.
Here's the samples:
One-Layer Stamping with Stickle bling
Simple stamping with paper scraps
Stamped image squares with black mats
I will have supplies for you make these 4 cards but you will have time to make more, so bring some blank notecards, paper scraps and your favorite sentiment stamps.
If you are in the Southern California area (Stamp Fever is in the lovely City of Orange) contact Linda  to sign up, we will have a wonderful time!
The number at Stamp Fever is 714 974-3552

Thought for the Day: Ephesians 4:32 "Be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you."   ~I've been working through some hurtful issues lately and I am seriously having to remember to forgive sometimes on an hourly basis. But I know that when God forgave me, I didn't deserve it, so I can't make that  a qualifier for forgiving someone else. Forgiveness frees the spirit and keeps the lines of communication open with God. Unforgiveness leads to bitterness, interrupted fellowship with God and steals your joy.
Bless you,
nancy

  2. Nancy, I love the CAS cards! Wish I lived closer! Would so love to take the class and meet you!! I love your thought of the day today. When talking about forgiveness, I always remember what I was taught by my parents. To not only forgive and forget, but to NEVER hold a grudge. I think they go hand in hand. It is so true, that holding grudges and not forgiving, really does make for an unhappy life! Hugs to you! :)
