It's my CHA Winter 2013 Wrap Up!

If you are here for the Hero Hostess Blog Hop, please scroll down to the next post :)

Hey peeps (can I get away with that?) After a full day in my pjs yesterday, I'm finally getting over my CHA hangover. Symptoms are extreme tiredness, sore achy muscles, a compulsion to show strangers how to stamp, a brain stuffed with too much information and a warm feeling brought on by seeing old friends again and meeting new friends!

I must apologize as my photos this year are pretty limited, when I did have occasion to leave the whimsical land of Lawn Fawn it seems I forgot my trusty Olympus digital. You know I don't have a phone either, so many of the wonderful sights of the show will remain inside my head.

Let's start with some cards based on my Make 'n Take designs:

This card was our Sunday Make 'n Take. It use the brand new sets "Good Fortune" and "Sharp Backgrounds" We also demonstrated our brand new Lawn Cuts dies!!!

The Mother's Day cards were made for our Monday "Make 'n Give" for Operation Write Home. I used papers from "Daphne's Closet" for the originals, these cards feature "Pink Lemonade" papers and the new "Mother's Day" mini stamp set.

 On to the highlights:

Saturday morning just before opening, the booth is ready for action!

Here's the sign that welcomed the attendees; that's Ivy posing!

Here I am Sunday morning manning the Make 'n Take table with Ellen Hutson and Amber Kemp-Gerstel.

Chari and Ivy; two of my favorite "Fawnies"!

Mike took some time to make a card for Operation Write Home; yes he's pretty stamp-capable!
I had a few gentlemen at the ol' make 'n take table, they loved it when they got to use the Corner Chomper!

Posing with friends:

I just love Lisa Spangler: she's bubbly and upbeat, you can't help but smile when she's around!

I met Amber Kemp-Gerstel from damask love. She is so creative; I love her blog!

Sweet Teri Anderson...she makes me smile!

My new friends: Ellen Hutson and Julie Ebersole. The Lawn Fawn crew had a great time at the Lazy Dog Cafe with Ellen and Julie on Monday night. Wonderful food and delightful company, I'm a lucky girl!

Kelly couldn't resist the drink served in the Mason Jar!

I love working with these two...Mike and Kelly are truly wonderful people. I'm so blessed to know them!

Look for all the new Lawn Fawn products in your local stores and online in mid to late February. I'll be working hard with the Lawn Fawn bunch to get all the CHA orders out.

nancy

Hero Hostess Blog Hop: 2013 style!

Welcome to the Hero Arts Hostess Hop, featuring fabulous stamps from the new 2013 release!
If you've been following along, you've just arrived from Judy Jung's blog! I had the wonderful good fortune to meet her at Scrapfest last September. She is so sweet; we were fast friends from the first hug! I'm sure she delighted you with her Hop offering today.

As you hop today remember that Hero Arts will be awarding prizes from randomly drawn comments. For a chance to win, simply comment on ANY of the stops along the hop on ANY day, including each day’s starting post at the Hero Club Blog. The more comments you leave, the better your chance of winning!
If you find a broken link, you'll find a master list of the hop links at the Hero Club Blog. Also, please report broken links to Tami

It's Happy Birthday Cards today at the Happy Heart!! I always wait until the last minute to make birthday cards, can you say procrastination? I'm turning over a new leaf this year and making a bunch of cards this month to have on hand for all those special people who deserve something hand-made. Here's some filled with Hero Arts stamped goodness!

Tiny Tags, It's Your Day, Essential Messages
Sweet little tags in citrus colors. I used the coordinating die (DI046) to cut out the tags as I'm not so fond of cutting things myself.

Tiny Tags, It's Your Day, Houndstooth Background, Envelope Pattern
Don't forget the guys on your birthday list (I usually panic at the last minute and throw something together).

Tiny Tags, Everything Flowers, It's Your Day, Newspaper Background, (and a tiny flourish from a really old  set that's a favorite of mine, Frames and Messages).

I love that chalkboard look and did my best to imitate it on the Tiny Tag. Those little flowers on the tag are hand-drawn.

Just a little note: The patterned paper is from the new Pink Lemonade and Daphne's Closet Collections by Lawn Fawn- it releases in mid-February.

Now you can continue your hop today by heading to Sue McRae's blog, Inky Fingers. She's amazing; you will love her style!

New Year's Day Activity

This is what was happening at my house on January 1, 2013......any guesses?

This was in my backyard.....hmmmm, what could this be?

Digby keeping an eye on things.....

a couple of guys with tools building something......

hey, this guy looks familiar......it's Mike from Lawn Fawn, but what's he doing in my backyard on New Year's Day?!!

I hope to have some crafty goodness posted here in the next few days.....just as soon as I can find the floor in my craft room. I'm doing another craft supply purge and I'm afraid things are a bit untidy, to say the least, at the moment.

Hope your New Year is off to a happy and creative start!
