Spectacular Skies with Just Dies

Hi friends, I have a card featured at the Lawn Fawnatics challenge blog today! The challenge theme is Spectacular Skies and I wanted to make a card with only dies.

Check out the supply list for all the die sets I combined. I die cut most of the images from Bristol cardstock and I colored them with Copic markers. The palm tree trunk is cut from Woodgrain cardstock and the cloud from white cardstock. I also used some silver glitter cardstock behind the raindrops.

Lawn Fawn's Swan Soirée!

Today Lawn Fawn is showcasing the new stamp set Swan Soirée from their Spring 2020 Release! I used this beautiful new set to make a birthday card for my sister!

I added a bit of ink blending to create a simple background for the sweet images from Swan Soirée! I stamped the pond from the set in the new Kiddie Pool ink, it's such a pretty shade of aqua!

I used Bunting Borders, cut from Pixie Dust Sparkle cardstock to add some interest to the top of the card. The sentiment was heat embossed in silver to balance the sparkle of the banners.

I finished the birthday sentiment on the inside in pretty purple ink and included another sweet little lotus flower!

A Cheerful Birthday Card!

Time is flying by so fast! I can't believe that I made this birthday card to celebrate the ninth birthday of my great-niece, Reece! Click here to see a scrapbook page I made for her mom when she was just a baby. Seems like yesterday!

I used Lawn Fawn's Stitched Flower Frame die set to make this happy flower. I die cut it from the new Spring Fling papers and added a Stitched Scalloped Frame in the multi-color pattern. The blue striped paper in the background is from the original Really Rainbow 6x6 paper pack that is no longer available in 6x6 but you can still get the 12x12 paper.

The birthday greeting is from Wavy Sayings and it's stamped on a Fancy Wavy Banner in Peacock ink.

You can find all the products I used on this card at Lawn Fawn.

What's for Dinner? with Lawn Fawn!

It's been a long while (yet again) in between posts. I really need to pay some attention to my little corner of the web. I have a card today that uses Lawn Fawn's newest planner set, Plan on It: Meal Planning! It's featured today at the Lawn Fawn blog for Inspiration Week!

I used the tiny icons and words to create a border on the top and bottom of the panel. I set it up in a Mini MISTI so I could stamp it twice. The first time I stamped with Black Licorice ink.  Then I used Lawn Fawn ink in Minty Fresh, Fresh Lavender, Merman, Peachy Keen, Apricot, Moonstone, Butter, Sage Leaf and Celery Stick to add color to the icons using a small Picket Fence Life Changing Brush.

After I added the color, I returned the panel to the MISTI and inked up the stamps with clear embossing ink and embossed with clear embossing powder. This gives the stamping a cool, glossy look!

To finish the card (which I'm thinking I'll use to invite friends over for dinner) I die cut letters with Cole's ABCs from Sage Leaf cardstock. I used Lawn Fawn's Glue Tube to adhere the letters and this quick and fun card was done!

For more great inspiration, check out the Lawn Fawn blog. And if you haven't been entering the giveaways all week, today is the last chance to enter.

You can find all the Lawn Fawn products I used HERE.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

You Are So Cool!

Has it really been 6 months since I've posted anything? I'm still here, still busy with all the behind the scenes things I do for Lawn Fawn! It's June Inspiration Week and I finally made a card, woohoo!

I used Lawn Fawn's new I Scream, You Scream die set to make these super cute and totally cool popsicles! They are die cut from Really Rainbow 6x6 paper. I added a Stitched Rectangle Frame in Cilantro cardstock and a curved banner from Shadow Box Card Ocean Add-On in Sugarplum. To make the greeting for my super cool grandson I combined a sentiment from Simply Sentiments and die cut letters from Quinn's Capital ABCs in Black Licorice cardstock! The card base is Birthday Candles from Watercolor Wishes!

Thank you for dropping by! Please leave a comment so I know you were here :)

A Cute and Feminine Graduation Card

My niece is graduating from high school next month so I made a card for her using her school colors!

I used Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink to create a circular sky and then overstamped to text in Moonstone ink.

I added the cute and feminine details using Valentine Borders and Stitched Borders. Not to mention the cute smiley faces on the clouds!

To add a gift card to the inside I used Lift the Flap. The sentiment is stamped with Noble Fir ink and Scripty Congrats is die cut from Shooting Star Watercolor Wishes paper.

This card is featured on the Lawn Fawn blog today! You'll find a supply list there :)

New Lawn Fawn!! Upon a Star and Stitched Fireworks

It's Lawn Fawn's Summer 2017 Inspiration and Release Week and they are rolling out some pretty awesome and innovative stuff! And as always they have amazing Design Team samples, great Intro Videos and lots of daily giveaways along with the Big Giveaway! Visit the Lawn Fawn blog today! The new products will be released on May 18th!!

I had a chance to play with the adorable new Upon a Star stamp set and combined it with the fabulous new Stitched Fireworks Lawn Cuts die. I used Lawn Fawn inks in Peacock, Plastic Flamingo, Sugarplum, Sunflower and Freshly Cut Grass along with Black Soot Distress ink and Delicata Golden Glitz to create the colorful background.

I stamped the woodland critters in Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink and used Copic markers to color them, adding a highlight to their heads to look like the glow of the fireworks.

I sprayed a glitter spritz on the background for a bit of shine!
The caption was created using  a speech bubble from A Birdie Told Me and Riley's ABCs.

A Valentine in Neutral Colors

I have a card featured on the Lawn Fawn blog today that uses Love Letters to create a stamped background. I stuck with a neutral color palette of kraft cardstock, Lawn Fawn Soot ink, Black Licorice cardstock, vellum and just a smidgen of Chili Pepper cardstock. For the complete supply list you can visit the Lawn Fawn blog.

I love the look of text in the background. The pops of red keep this neutral design from being too plain.

I made Valentines for my grandson Uriah's class again this year!

I used Monster Mash and Argyle Backdrops along with the sun from the die set Sun and Moon. The fun Zig Zag Rectangle and Cilantro cardstock will be available on February 23!!

This Valentine is all about that goofy googly eyed monster!!

These are the cards I made for Uriah in 2015 and 2016 using Lawn Fawn's Wheelie Like You and Pizza My Heart sets.

Thanks so much for your visit!

Fawny Holiday Week with Lawn Fawn

I always have so much fun joining with the wonderful Lawn Fawn crew for Fawny Holiday Week! Be sure to visit the Lawn Fawn blog and leave a comment on everyday this week for a chance to win a stamp set and 6x6 Perfectly Plaid Christmas or Winter paper pad!

I thought it would be fun to stretch my thinking and make some cards for our friends who celebrate Hanukkah this year! I used the Lawn Fawn Love You a Latke set to make three totally different cards.

For this card I stamped Let's Bokeh's various sized solid dots in coordinating colors.  The silver embossed greetings go nicely with the stars cut from glitter paper.

Milo's ABCs worked really well stamped in Lawn Fawn's bright and happy ink colors as the candles!

For this card I added the cute squirrels from Cheery Christmas for a fun and lighthearted card design.

I hope you'll check out Lawn Fawn's posts all this week to enter each of the daily giveaways.

Thanks so much for visiting, please leave a comment so i know you were here :)
