Inspired by a Quote
This week's tag theme at Kard Krazy is.....Inspire Me. We are to find a quote or a word that inspires us and create a tag based on that theme. I found an old Stampin Up set with a quote that I find so perfect.
I haven't used this set in almost ten years so it was a pleasure to ink it up and color it with Copics. The background is stamped with Hero Arts Dandelion Frame and white embossed. I added color with Distress inks in Bundled Sage and Scattered Straw. The butterfly, from Hero Arts clear set Antique Engravings, is colored with Copics and clear embossed several times to give it a glossy finish. I wanted the tag to be longer than the 4 3/4" size so I tied the herb stamped portion to the bottom with jute threaded through white eyelets. I'm still really loving the octagonal Nesties, they are so versatile.
