May Arts Ribbon with Lily Pad Cards

One of the things that is a real challenge for me is using ribbon. Bows completely frustrate me. I have used ribbon and bows successfully only a few times on my cards. So wouldn't you know, that's the challenge this week at Lily Pad Cards. (Maybe that's why it's called a challenge, hmmmm) But I couldn't help but be inspired to try again when I got this gorgeous ribbon from May Arts.
I've had this Eiffel Tower stamp for years and decided it was time to ink it up again and pair it with a few other stamps and some fun chipboard shapes,  so here's how the pieces came together...

That striped ribbon is so phenomenal, I wanted it to be a feature and not look like it was added as an afterthought. I think it grounds the design perfectly. The colors came from the ribbon and from the Circa 1934 chipboard stickers.

Eiffel Tower stamp by Stampa Rosa-Tin Can Mail. Other stamps: Dots and Flowers by Hero Arts, Vintage Verses by Lizzie Anne Designs, Butterfly Garden by Pink Paislee.
Patterned Paper and Chipboard Circa 1934 by Cosmo Cricket.

~ Ephesians 1: 3-4 ~
"All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms
because we are united with Christ.
Even before He made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ
to be holy and without fault in His eyes."
