Birthday Balloons Card

I can't believe it's been a month since I made a card to share here. I did make a bunch of watercolor Easter cards but they were so last minute I didn't take any photos :(

I saw Jennifer McGuire demonstrate this Spotlight Die Cutting technique in a recent video and I wanted to try it with the Lawn Fawn Party Balloons and my favorite Hero Arts birthday stamp. I just love the Go Out and Play sentiment!

I really had fun with this technique, I'm sure I will use it again!

I think next time I will add some inking around the edges of the balloons to help them stand out.

The green star balloon is popped up with foam tape.

I clear embossed the black ink on the balloon die cuts,
