Garden Gate: Thinking About You

I have a card featured on the Lawn Fawn blog today for June Inspiration Week! Today it's all about the Thinking About You Border and Scripty Congrats dies.

I had so much fun creating this card to look like a wildflower garden. I just love the look of kraft with bright white!

I used Penelope's Blossoms to create my wildflower garden on a Stitched Oval that I had water-colored with Distress Inks in Tumbled Glass and Mowed Lawn. Blissful Botanicals and Peace Joy Love add the perfect frame. The garden gate is from Picket Fence Borders and of course the sentiment is the Thinking About You Border die cut. I used a variety of ink from Lawn Fawn, Hero Arts and Simon Says Stamp.

Fun Dad's Day Card for my Doctor Who fan!

I'm trying to get ahead of my cardmaking (totally new concept for me, usually I'm making a card while Al is waiting in the car). My sweet hubby is a Doctor Who fan to which he will respond "Who isn't?" I quoted a memorable scene from a previous season on his Dad's Day card using Lawn Fawn stamps.

The chair (stamped in Tardis blue), bow tie and sentiment are from Dad's Day; the TV is from Stay Tuned and the banner is from Bannerific. I used the coordinating die for the banner too, so convenient!  The quotes were computer generated; I found the scene from the show and the picture of the fez in Google.

I also used the brand new Lawn Cuts Dies- Circle Stackables! These are just the best circle dies, they are being released tonight on the Lawn Fawn store! (Stamp Fever will have them and all of the new release stamps and dies on the shelves tomorrow)

I'll have some fun new Lawn Fawn projects popping up in the next few days!
