Tag Tuesday #55 My Favorite Things

I've missed making a tag for 2 weeks now so I made it a point to get one done early this week. It was a very intriguing  theme this week too! I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone else does.
I'm not so sure I have favorite design elements or a signature style so I went with my favorite things in life and hoped that as I worked through the design of the tag something would emerge to say this is my style.
The text is a scan of page from an 1890s German Bible that belonged to my DH's grandfather.
I love vintage Bibles with notes in the margin and dog-eared pages.
I love- the beach, dogs, dance, polka dots, new stamp and craft techniques, playing Scrabble and card games with friends till the wee hours of the morning on vacation.
Apparently I like pink, since it has made a pretty bold appearance on the tag.
Manuscript background is my favorite go-to stamp.
Starburst Lace is my favorite new stamp.
And of course Psalm 16:11 is my favorite Bible verse.
Thought for the Day:  "You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasure forevermore!" Meaning and purpose in life are found in the presence of God, there we find joy and guidance and hope for the future!

    Youve revealed much of yourself in this beautiful tag, Nancy. I'd probably recognize it as one of yours because of the bible reference. It's really lovely!

    This really is a Nancy tag! I think I recognize you here in the colors more than anything else and of course the Bible verse which is a favorite of yours! Beautiful!

    Nancy, what a wonderful theme this is! It's really neat seeing all the things that are important to you and fun for you in your life! It's a little glimpse into who you are...and I love that! I can just see all the care and thought that went into creating this beautiful tag! :)
