Announcing Blog Candy Winners!!

I had so much fun reading all the comments on my blog candy post. You are all just the most encouraging people ever...I only wish I had 50 prize packages to give away. But I do have 5 winners to announce today.

Okay, can I just say that finding the 5 winners involved a spreadsheet (I do love an opportunity to create a spreadsheet, that's my inner bookkeeper talking) and the services of Random.org. The spreadsheet was needed to assign everyone one chance for each of the ways they entered, for example some people had 3 chances and others had 5 chances. After all the entries were tallied I plugged in 1-142 into the random number generator and here are our Winners.....

Design Memory Craft Blog Candy!

Since Jill Foster at Inspired by has been inspired by me, it seems only fair to return the favor. So I made my own version of her gorgeous card HERE. I used the new Seasonal Spring Distress inks on the background, but on the die cut image I added color with Design Memory Craft Gelatos. I just love how they are so creamy and the color is so saturated, they can be used for so many great techniques. Here I colored them on the embossed image and blended them with my fingers. Then I spritzed some pearly water pretty heavily and used a cloth to move the color around, lightening it in some areas.

I'm so excited that Jill has featured my canvas project on her blog that I decided to offer some wonderful Design Memory Craft products as Blog Candy to celebrate!

Photos from my Gelatos class at Stamp Fever

There was a lot of colorful fun happening at Stamp Fever today. My Stamping 103 class played with Faber-Castell Design-Memory-Craft Gelatos. They each made a card using Sticky Back canvas and a mini canvas magnet collage. All of the gorgeous color on these projects came from the Gelatos. I love this group of women, they are fearless when it comes to creativity!

We glued a magnet to the back of the canvas so they can hang on the fridge.

My sweet friend Sue made a really gorgeous canvas, very artsy and such a wonderful color combo.

Next month we will make a Mixed Media canvas sampler. Pictures to follow. I love my job!
